Aryabhatta Knowledge University is a State University located in Patna, Bihar. The University was established in 2010 through the Aryabhatta Knowledge University Act. The University offers various courses in Technical , Medical and Management field to the candidates.
AKU Patna Admissions 2018
has been established by Government of Bihar for the development and management of educational infrastructure related to technical, medical, management and allied professional education in the state.
The University offers a number of courses in technical, medical and management field under various specialization subjects. The UG level courses include B.Tech., M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.A.M.S., etc., whereas the PG level courses include M.Tech., M.S., M.D., M.B.A., M.Sc., etc. The university also offers the doctoral degree in various different fields of research.
Admission to various courses are through an entrance examination conducted by the university itself for evaluation of the candidates, whereas, for the other courses, the candidates are admitted purely based on their merit in the previous qualifying examination.
Key Point to Note: The reservation of seats for the different categories is as per the rules set by the Govt. of Bihar
AKU Patna B.Tech Admissions 2018
Aryabhatta Knowledge University offers the B.Tech degree with nine different specialization subjects. All the B.Tech courses are offered for a duration of four years. Admission to all the courses will be made in the Autumn Semester of each session at the First Year level through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB), Patna the counseling for which is done by the Central Counseling of the BCECEB, Patna.
- Candidates can apply for the BCECEB through official website.
- Besides the successful BCECEB candidates, a specified number of NRI students selected under the policy laid down by the Government of India may be admitted directly to the 1st year of any of the courses covered by these regulations
